The program is designed to take instructor candidates to a
standard that is far higher than that dictated by the PADI Syllabus and beyond that
generally expected within the industry. Holly conducts the entire program and
has a wealth of experience within the recreational diving industry having
worked in a variety of scuba related roles in a range of worldwide diving
destinations, and is therefore perfectly placed to provide support and advice
to newly certified PADI Instructors about specific job roles offered within
particular geographic locations.
During the program candidates will cover the entire PADI IDC
Syllabus and also participate in a range of additional workshops designed to
provide dive professionals with the necessary tools to be successful scuba
diving instructors and enter the industry with the knowledge, skills and
confidence to succeed. There are a range of additional components which have
been added to the program that are aimed at providing the necessary tools for
candidates to make a smooth transition into life as a scuba diving instructor
with the knowledge, skills and confidence to succeed. Additional workshops include
student control, dive site setup and maintenance, Controlled Emergency
Workshops, PADI Online navigation workshop and various group team building
exercises designed to help new instructors during the transitional period when
starting a new job giving them the knowledge,
skills and confidence to easily fit into any instructor team.
